Valentines Special - Cooking for Loved Ones!

Welcome to my Valentine Cook Club Special!

The aim of my club is to encourage your child to learn about ‘good’ food and to explore new flavours in an educational and fun way. During a typical sessions we will cover 2-3 recipes using quality ingredients.  We informally discuss aspects of nutrition, food science, seasonality and where ingredients originate from. 

Each recipe will be utilising 1 or more essential cooking skill. In this Valentines Special the children will make their make 2 types of Heart Shaped Savoury Galettes: Tomato, Mozzerella & Pesto + Cream Cheese, Courgette Sweetcorn and Olive. They will learn to handle Puff pastry and we will discuss versitality of this type of Pastry.

They will then make their Chocolate Fudge Brownies. These will be cut into cute heart shapes and sandwiched together using their home made Raspberry Buttercream. 

The children will be encouraged to taste their gourmet creations as well as taking home to share with their families.

All children are requested to take a lateral flow test either at a community testing centre or at home within 48 hours of attending your class

Please do not send your child if they or any other household member are experiencing covid related symptoms

This class is suitable for Children 9 years and above. Young Teens are also welcome!
