A one-off Christmas Special! 

This year why not treat your loved ones to some beautifully packaged home made treats! In our modern age its so easy to buy anything our hearts desire but what can be more special than handmaking your foodie gifts. 

Not only are they more ecomical, they will be healthier and full of natural ingredients.... not to mention more environmental friendly! 

This will  a fun, joint interactive group class and together we will be covering some essential cooking skills such as preservation, fermentation and enriched yeast bread baking. We will also be covering packaging for your gourmet gifts.

All participants will take home samples (small jars, bottles and boxes) of their gourmet creations!

On the day we will be making: 

Spiced Apple or Mango Chutney (using aromatic Indian Spices) 

Great with Indian food or to accompny a cheese board.

Christmas Kraut

To accompany winter meals or to perfect withcharcuterie.

Spicy Roasted Chickpeas

Perfect for healthy snacking. A great alternative to crisps and nuts!

Smoky Christmas Ketchup

A ketchup with a difference! Also low in sugar!

Mulling or Gingerbread Syrup

A fast track to creating a last minute mulled wine or perfect for poaching fruit!

Cranberry & Pistacchio Biscotti 

Jewelled treats with the perfect crunch. Great for after dinner with coffee!

Mini Stollen Bites

A bitesized version of a traditional Christmas sweetened yeasted bread. Boxed & Perfect for gifting!

No previous cooking knowledge is needed, just a desire to cook and learn!

Covid Info: All attendees are requested to take a lateral flow test either at a community testing centre or at home within 48 hours of attending the class. Please do not attend if you or any other household member are experiencing covid related symptoms.
