About the Event
Welcome to My Rainbow Kitchen Afterschool Classes
Due to high demand, I am trialling a few after school cooking classes which focus on one skilled dish with sauce or accompaniment. If these go well we will have more regular classes from September onwards.
Each class will be 1.5 hours and children will be able to take home goodies for their dinner after the class. If you cannot make the trial classes and you are interested in after school classes or a saturday mid morning class next term then please do email me and let me know your child's availability! For these trial classes I am offering a 10% discount using the code TRIAL1
In this first trial class we will stick to the Chinese theme (following the success of the May Half Term Oriental Class) and will make some light crunchy spring rolls. We will be julienning our vegetables to make the spring roll mix packed with flavour and combining with some fine vermicelli noodles. The children will be taught how to roll their spring rolls and be shown how to fry safely. All spring rolls will be made Vegetarian so will suit all.
We will also make a sweet chilli sauce with less sugar than the shop bought equivalents but still mouthwateringly good.
Please do not send your child if they or any other household member are experiencing covid related or flu symptoms.
Allergen information: this course uses wheat and dairy. I may be able to substitute but for more information regarding the ingredients used, please contact me before booking your course.
Please book early to avoid disappointment. Once the class is at full capacity, I will not be able to take on any more children unfortunately.
These classes are suitable for Children 9 years and above. Teens are also welcome!
