About the Event

Welcome to My Rainbow Kitchen. I look forward to welcoming you all Indian Vegan Cookery Class. I  will teach you the fundamentals of Plant-Based cooking and well as Indian Spice Blending.

Where possible I will be using local seasonal ingredients and will give suggestions on how each recipe can be modified throughout the seasons.

I will give you an introduction to key ingredients and hacks in creating the right balance of flavour. We  will create 3-4 items  which will be packaged up for you to take home at the end of the afternoon.

On the Menu

Option 1

  • Chole (Spiced Chickpea Curry) 
  • Aromatic Jeera Rice
  • Cauliflower Potato Pea Curry
  • Dosa (Fermented Rice Lentil Pancakes) - Demo Only
  • Coconut Raita, Pickled Red Onion & Tamarind Chutney - Demo Only

Option 2

  • Dosa
  • Cauliflower potato pea curry
  • Tamarind chutney
  • Vegan mint coriander yoghurt
  • Pickled onion relish)
  • Gujarati dhal

For my classes, you are requested to take a home covid test within 48 hours of attending your class.

Please do not attend if you or any household member are experiencing flu or covid related symptoms.
