Kids Easter Cook Club - Easter Special

This Easter we will create some delicious Easter Treats!

The aim of my clubs is to encourage your child to learn about ‘good’ food and to explore new flavours in an educational and fun way.

During a typical session we will cover 2-3 recipes using quality ingredients.  We informally discuss aspects of nutrition, food science, seasonality and where ingredients originate from. Each recipe will be utilising 1 or more essential cooking skills.

In this Easter Special, we will be making Savoury Muffins with  cheese, bacon & sweetcorn.  These make a perfect savoury snack or they are great served for breakfast! The children will be taught how to season a savoury batter correctly when using salty foods such as cheese and bacon.  

For their sweet treat, they will create Easter Egg Nest and Cute Chick cookies by first making their all butter biscuits. These will be topped with a thin layer of fondant or marzipan. For the easter egg nest cookies the children will make their chocolate ganache before piping and filling with mini eggs.  For the cute chick biscuits they will be taught how to colour their decorations the correct way to create the chicks faces. Both biscuits are a great treat for the family to share or would make great gifts for loved ones!

Please do note, unfortunately I have had to increase my prices slightly due to the cost of ingredients and energy costs. It is still very good value for money compared to other cookery classes for kids and please do check my reviews if in doubt!

Due to other private bookings and commitments,  I will only be running one more Kids Cook Club over the Easter break.

For my classes, all children are requested to take a home covid test either  within 48 hours of attending the class.

Please do not send your child if they or any other household member are experiencing covid related or flu symptoms.

These classes are suitable for Children 9 years and above.  Teens are also welcome!
