Kids Easter Cook Club - 3 Cheese Ravioli & Mini Lemon Meringue Nests

Due the overwhelming success of last weeks Ravioli Class I am putting on a second class for those who missed out! I hope your children can join this time around!

The aim of my club is to encourage your child to learn about ‘good’ food and to explore new flavours in an educational and fun way. During a typical sessions we will cover 2-3 recipes using quality ingredients.  We informally discuss aspects of nutrition, food science, seasonality and where ingredients originate from. 

Each recipe will be utilising 1 or more essential cooking skill. In this Easter Special the class will make their make their own Pasta dough and a 3 Cheese Filling made with Mozzerella, Parmesan & Ricotta. They will roll and fill their pasta dough then cook perfectly to 'al dente'. They will also make a  Fresh Tomato sauce to serve with their ravioli and top with a frsh shavings of  Parmesan and home grown Basil!

The children will then make their Lemon Meringue Nests and fill with a Home made Lemon Curd then decorate with Sprinkles and mini eggs.

Kids will be encouraged to taste their gourmet creations as well as taking home to share with their families.

All children are requested to take a lateral flow test either at a community testing centre or at home within 48 hours of attending your class.

Please do not send your child if they or any other household member are experiencing covid related symptoms.

This class is suitable for Children 9 years and above.  Teens are also welcome!
