About the Event
Welcome to My Rainbow Kitchen. I am happy to announce my new bitesized after school Kids Cook Club focusing on key culinary skills and making some yummy food in the process!
The aim of these classes are to encourage your child to learn about ‘good’ food and to explore new flavours in an educational and fun way. We informally discuss aspects of nutrition, food science, seasonality and where ingredients originate from. Each recipe will be utilising 1 or more keys cooking skill.
We aim to cover different cuisines from around the world as well as the British Classics. Dishes will either be savoury to serve as a main course or sweet to serve as dessert. Usually in addition, an accompaniment or sauce will made to complement dish. Recipes will be decided on a seasonal basis (depending on weather and local seasonal produce).
