Its time to test your Culinary skills in this Middle Eastern Masterclass! Teams will be judged on the Taste, Appearance & Use of Spices in their dishes as well as their Team Work ability. Let the Cooking begin!

About the Event
This 2.5 hour Class will take your team on a delicious voyage of discovery through Middle Eastern cuisine, leaving you all with all the skills & techniques in order to whip out an incredible array of hot & cold dishes for you indulge in.
In a world of ready-meals and sauces claiming to be authentic, I will show you all how cooking from scratch tastes the best!
Your team can experience varied and flavour-packed Middle Eastern cuisine first hand, and learn the entire cooking process for a number of dishes from start to finish in just a few hours.
Where possible we will be using local seasonal ingredients and I will give suggestions on how each recipe can be modified thoughout the seasons.
I will give your team an introduction to fundamentals of proper spice blending – so you have a complete understanding of the use of spices and the essence of Middle Eastern cooking.
We will split the team up into 3 sub teams whereby each sub team will create 2 dishes each. The menu will be:
Aromatic Harissa Lamb Kebabs (or Spiced Panfried Halloumi Steaks for Vegetarians)
Creamy Mint & Roast Cumin Yoghurt
Fresh Homemade Flatbread with Nigella seeds & Garlic Infused Oil
Herby Harissa Bulghar Salad
Saffron & Cardamon Labneh or Baked Cheesecake with Pistachio & Pomegranate
Each sub team will be then judged on organization and working effectively as a team and of course the taste and appearence of the dishes created.
You will then enjoy a full Middle-eastern buffet with soft drinks, snacks and canapes served beforehand.
All participants are requested to take a lateral flow test either at a community testing centre or at home within 48 hours of attending your class.
Please do not attend if you or any other household member are experiencing covid related symptoms.
Allergen information: this course uses wheat and dairy. We may be able to substitute ingredients, so please specify on your booking form.
