About the Event
The class will encourage your child to learn about ‘good’ food and to explore new flavours in an educational and fun way. This Spring & Summer we are growing our own herbs, vegetables and edible flowers. Children will be able to pick and cook using own home grown produce.
During the class we will cover 2-3 recipes using quality ingredients. We will informally discuss aspects of nutrition, food science, seasonality and where ingredients originate from.
Each recipe will be utilising 1 or more essential cooking skill. In this Oriental inspired class the children will learn to prepare and marinade their duck legs for the Aromatic Crispy Duck. They will julienne a variety of focusing on basic Seasonal & Traditional fillingsKnife skills.
For the Fritters your child will prepare the We will then fry the fritters and serve with a simple Vanilla Icecream. Batter.
