About the Event
This 3.5 hour Class will take you and your team on a delicious voyage of discovery through Chinese cuisine, leaving you all with all the skills & techniques in order to whip out an incredible array of Dim Sum in the future.
In a world of ready-meals and sauces claiming to be authentic, I will show you all how cooking from scratch tastes the best!
Your team can experience varied and flavour-packed Chinese Cusine first hand, and learn the entire cooking process for creating a variety of dim sum from start to finish in just a few hours.
Where possible we will be using local seasonal ingredients and I will give suggestions on how each recipe can be modified thoughout the seasons.
I will give your team an introduction to fundamentals Chinese flavours and creating the right balance.
We will split the team up into 3 sub teams whereby each sub team will create 1-2 dim sum each and a corresponding dipping sauce.
Each sub team will be then judged on Organization and Working effectively as a Team in addition to the Taste, Appearence & Balance of Flavours of the dim sum created.
Therafter you will then enjoy the fruits of your labour together with some typical Chinese dishes and drinks for refreshment.
All participants are requested to take a lateral flow test either at a community testing centre or at home within 48 hours of attending your class.
Please do not attend if you or any other household member are experiencing covid related symptoms.
Allergen information: this course uses wheat and dairy. We may be able to substitute ingredients, so please specify on your booking form.
